2025 Live Music and Food Trucks

Our current list of food trucks, live music and entertainment that is always free and open for all to access at the brewery and taproom. We have a variety of food trucks that pitch up at the taproom on Fridays and Saturdays 5-8pm and live music on Saturdays 6-8pm. Check out the content on our socials to catch the vibe!

Fri 1st August

Food Truck - Sprinkle of Saffron 5pm to 8pm

Maverick favourite Sprinkle of Saffron are back next Saturday. Seema will be here serving up delicious fresh homemade contemporary curries and sides. They're all brilliant, the only bad thing is you might be too full to try them all! Bring some mates along and get sharing next Saturday, it's going to be a good one.

Saturday 2nd August

Food - Smokey and the Bandit 5pm-8pm

Music - Chloe and Tom 6-8pm

This Saturday there's awesome food from Smokey and the Bandit. If you missed them before, Smokey and the Bandit "take TexMex to the TexMAX", with their Texan-Canadian chef bringing lip-smackin' South West dishes to the UK. They're truly experts in the field, you won't want to miss out.

Chloe and Tom are a Hampshire based acoustic pop cover duo. They’ve been performing individually for 15+ years with very different styles, although when they met it was apparent these styles complement each other perfectly for beautiful harmonies and lively playing. You won’t’ want to miss them!​

Friday 8th August

Food Truck - Cookhouse Streetfood 5pm-8pm

This Friday we've got Cornish's Cookhouse Streetfood making their return. This is street food at its highest quality. These guys don't mess around when it comes to bringing premium to you, and have been with us on some of our busiest days. They really stand out from the crowd and have an extensive menu with Veggie and Vegan bites also on offer. Come down and treat yourself this Friday!

Saturday 9th August

Food - Leona's Bespoke Catering 5pm-8pm

Music - Niko 6-8pm

Leona's Bespoke Catering specialise in bringing global cuisine to you. Her menus are always tailored and as diverse as Korean to Indonesian or French to Latin American. We can't wait to see what she brings to Maverick but we know it'll be delicious!

Niko is a full time composer of Film and TV and often performs under the moniker “VLMV”. His music has been described on BBC6 Music as “a beam of light through a dark, cold night”. He regularly plays around Hampshire and Sussex solo and in various other groups, which is only a testament to his experience and skill as a professional musician.

Friday 15th August

Food Truck - Peppone's Street Food - 5pm to 8pm

This FRIDAY Peppones Street Food will be serving up their mouth-watering modern Mexican, African and Greek style street food. All cuisine is made with local ingredients, and with everything from quesadillas and tacos to gyros there’s something for everyone! Come and get stuck in.

Saturday 16th August

Food - Rebel Soul 5-8pm

Music - Briggs and Stark 6-8pm

Maverick Run Club 5pm-

Rebel soul make folded flatbreads and loaded fries to the artisan max! From flatbreads loaded with Korean fried chicken to crispy pork cheek and salsa verde, with loaded fries topped with chili beef and Mexican chicken, and of course delicious cheesy vegetarian alternatives too! Get involved!

Briggs and Stark are a wholesome country-folk duo, playing acoustic covers with a tickle of flute. These guys play all over the south of England and its easy to see why. Come on down and enjoy some beautiful harmonies and great music.

It's been awesome to see so many of you out on varying runs around the South Downs surrounding the taproom, and then back to the brewery for thirst quenching beers! Joined by Maverick founder Hod, we always look forward to our monthly Run Club run. The Maverick run will alternate in length, and this month it's taking place on Saturday 16th August. Friday 22nd August

Food Truck - Mukhulu Wagon 5-8pm

This FRIDAY The Mukhulu Wagon will be here slinging delicious loaded fries and

ciabattas. Meat-eaters won't want to miss the spitfire pork belly buster- charcoal roasted pork loin with sides! There's plenty for veggies too with grilled halloumi dirty fries, homemade slaw and sauces.

Sat 23rd August

Food Truck - The Greek Way 5-8pm

Music - Abi Powell 6-8pm

The Greek Way are a professional family-run business specialising in traditional Greek cuisine. Using only the freshest ingredients they have a varied menu of mediterranian delights. You can’t go wrong with souvlaki pitta gyros, and they’ve got a range of fillings and sides from mixed meat to kofte, Greek sausage and for the veggies halloumi and falafel.

 

Abi Powell is a young singer-songwriter from Bracknell. She performs all over the Berkshire area and is heavily involved with the local music scene, promoting and playing at open mics. Abi has played at the tap a couple times now, and always blows us away with her powerful voice and soulful covers.

Friday 29th August

Food - Mexicali Food Truck 5-8pm

Mexicali food truck are serving up awesome Mexican food. They’ve got everything from loaded nachos to wholesome tacos and quesedillas with all sorts of delicious fillings. Their menu is extensive and allows for customising your ideal Mexican meal, at super affordable prices. From chipotle chicken or garlic citrus pork to veggie and VEGAN options, you won’t want to miss these guys!

Saturday 30th August

This Saturday Harry Davies is back. Harry plays in multiple bands around the South of England and will be bringing his guitar chops to equally talented singer/songwriter Molly McKenna’s powerful vocals. You might have caught them playing with full band the Space Fishermen, we’re lucky to have secured them for a special acoustic set on Saturday night. You won’t want to miss this!

Reggae Feast, as the name suggests, cook up authentic Jamaican food, it’s always a reggae feast! With a menu as diverse as jerk chicken to pork and mutton, wings to butter beans and rice n peas to mac n cheese there’s something for everybody! Come on and get your feast on!

Food Truck - Trash Panda 5-8pm

Music - TBC 6-8pm 

Trash Panda do banging pizza from a converted horse box. What’s not to love! They’ve got all the classics from cheesy pecorino to spicy chilli and chorizo and regularly changing specials. Still hungry? Grab their delicious garlic flatbread with folded garlic butter inside.

Friday 19th September

Sailing waves are an exciting duo comprised of female vocals and acoustic guitar. They cover old and new songs from pop to motown and rock, along with bringing an energetic performance. 

Friday 26th September

Food Truck - Field and Furnace 5-8pm

Field and Furnace are a new local food truck celebrating gourmet eating with flat iron steaks and chicken supreme. They also offer vegetarian options like Halloumi with Peppercorn or Chimichurri sauce. All food comes from local, from butchers meats to vegi ingredients like Alresford watercress. They also offer kids meals!

Saturday 27th September

Food Truck - Fire and Rocket 5pm-8pm

Music - Tom Key 6-8pm

Fire and Rocket are the “rolls Royce of outside catering”. They’re bringing delicious freshly baked sourdough pizzas and flatbreads. From Spicy meaty to portobello and goats cheese, there’s something for vegis and meat-eaters alike. 

 

Tom Key is a sophisticated singer/songwriter playing a blend of melodic, pop-influenced originals and soulful covers. He also knows his way around a loop pedal and is one of our most requested artists to have back!

Fri 3rd October

Food Truck - Earth to Oven 5pm to 8pm

Earth to oven are Maverick newcomers who specialise in all things flatbread, with an emphasis on the environment. Everything is made in house using local, seasonal produce. Think thick loaded flatbreads with everything from shredded chicken to curry sauce, charred halloumi and red pepper hummus to plant based cajun bites. They also make a whole host of mouth-watering sides, from crispy mac n’ cheese bites to crispy potatoes and falafels. This is heartwarming food at its finest.
