Our current list of food trucks, live music and entertainment that is always free and open for all to access at the brewery and taproom. We have a variety of food trucks that pitch up at the taproom on Fridays and Saturdays 5-8pm and live music on Saturdays 6-8pm. Check out the content on our socials to catch the vibe!

Fri 2nd May
Food Truck - Cookhouse Street Food 5pm to 8pm
This Friday we've got Cornish's Cookhouse Streetfood making their return. This is street food at its highest quality. These guys don't mess around when it comes to bringing premium to you, and were with us on our busiest day last summer. They really stand out from the crowd and have an extensive menu with Veggie and Vegan bites also on offer. Come down and treat yourself this Friday!
Saturday 3rd May
Food - Stone's Throw Pizza 5pm-8pm
Music - Niko 6-8pm
Stone’s throw pizza are an artisan pizzeria slinging top quality plant powered pizzas and sides. They’re totally plant based and making use of innovative recipes, they’re critically acclaimed around Hampshire and the festival scene, these guys do not disappoint!

Niko is a full time composer of Film and TV and often performs under the moniker “VLMV”. His music has been described on BBC6 Music as “a beam of light through a dark, cold night”. He regularly plays around Hampshire and Sussex solo and in various other groups, which is only a testament to his experience and skill as a professional musician.

Food Truck - Mexicali Food Truck 5pm-8pm
Mexicali food truck are serving up awesome Mexican food. They’ve got everything from loaded nachos to wholesome tacos and quesedillas with all sorts of delicious fillings. Their menu is extensive and allows for customising your ideal Mexican meal, at super affordable prices. From chipotle chicken or garlic citrus pork to veggie and VEGAN options, you won’t want to miss these guys!

Maverick Run Club 5pm
Maverick favourite Sprinkle of Saffron are back next Saturday. Seema will be here serving up delicious fresh homemade contemporary curries and sides. They're all brilliant, the only bad thing is you might be too full to try them all! Bring some mates along and get sharing next Saturday, it's going to be a good one.

​Anna Stewart is a talented singer and instrumentalist who plays a mixture of genres. She’s classically trained but loves to sing jazz, folk, soul and pop. It’s her first time at Maverick and we’re sure you’ll show her a warm Maverick welcome!

The last couple months we've had the Maverick Run Project Run. It's been awesome to see so many of you out on varying runs around the South Downs surrounding the taproom, and then back to the brewery for thirst quenching beers! Joined by Maverick founder Hod, we had a solid turnout and can't wait for the next ones. The Maverick run will alternate in length, and this month it's taking place on Saturday 10th May. Friday 16th May
Food Truck - Original Fry Up Material - 5pm to 8pm
Original Fry up material is a Winchester-based vintage food truck serving diner classics around Hampshire and beyond! It’s always quality first, hand-pressed, locally sourced, free-range and fresh. Expect mouthwatering specials like the Sweetsmoke Burger dripping with honey mustard glaze, Applewood smoked cheddar and streaky bacon, to equally full Vegan friendly burgers.
Saturday 17th May
Food - Smokey and the Bandit (5-8pm)
Music - Harry Davies 6-8pm
We've got favourites Smokey and the Bandit here for Texas BBQ treats! If you missed them before, Smokey and the Bandit "take TexMex to the TexMAX", with their Texan-Canadian chef bringing lip-smackin' South West dishes to the UK. They're truly experts in the field, you won't want to miss out.

This Saturday we’ve got the Maverick debut of two talented musicians, the Harry Davies Duo. Harry plays in multiple bands around the South of England and will be bringing his guitar chops to equally talented singer/songwriter Molly McKenna’s powerful vocals. You might have caught them playing with full band the Space Fishermen, we’re lucky to have secured them for a special acoustic set on Saturday night. You won’t want to miss this!​

This FRIDAY Peppones Street Food will be serving up their mouth-watering modern Mexican, African and Greek style street food. All cuisine is made with local ingredients, and with everything from quesadillas and tacos to gyros there’s something for everyone! Come and get stuck in.

Martin and his culinary nomad team from Top Nosh are on a mission to serve incredible food with infectious smiles. They’ve got everything from Wagyu burgers to buttermilk chicken, and a whole host of veggie and vegan bites from delicious Buddha bowls, to curries and chillis. These guys are true to name and really know how to serve up Top Nosh!

Tamara Hendin 2-4pm: You might have caught Tamara Hendin performing at one of our open mic/jam nights. Well she dazzled the taproom then and now is playing her own solo show at the tap! Expect a mix of originals and covers with her own unique twist, beautiful vocals and acoustic guitar.
Oli Patient 4:30-6:30: It's not Oli's first rodeo at Maverick, and he always goes down a storm at the tap. He's been here since the beginning, and at some of our biggest events like our 1st birthday party last year! Oli always brings his own flair to well known covers and originals, and his acoustic tunes have been proven to get everyone singing and dancing.
Key Lime Pi Band 7:30- onwards: Key Lime Pi are a renowned local band 9 piece Ska/Funk/dance band based in Hampshire. With a 4 piece brass section, killer vocals and a 2 bass fuelled kick ass rhythm section, you are gonna be on your feet! With tunes from The Specials, Herbie Hancock, The Skatallites and many more, Key Lime Pi have played festivals, carnivals, weddings, and many more, never failing to get the crowd dancing!

We'll also have exclusive beers pouring and collaborations pushing the limits of Maverick brewing, but more on that soon...!
KIDS CLASSES
We're also collaborating with the Natural Cook Co next door who will be running kids activities so your little ones can enjoy the Maverick Birthday as much as you! They'll be available to book nearer the time and more on that soon.

Food - All Counties Catering 5-8pm
All Counties Catering, like the name suggests, cater for all counties! They've ben all over from Bristol to Oxfordshire and we've managed to get them at Maverick to serve up their famous Hog Roast, loaded fries and German sausages. Owner Nik has nearly 30 years experience in the food industry and has worked in fine dining worldwide from Europe to Australia. These guys only use great local ingredients focusing on freshness and quality. What more could you want!

Becky Brown was one of the first people to play at Maverick and we keep getting her back due to popular demand! This talented multi-instrumentalist plays covers and originals on keys and guitar. You might have caught her on being played on BBC Introducing or rocking the festival scene this summer. The best place to see her however? Down the Maverick Tap of course!

Chloe and Tom are a Hampshire based acoustic pop cover duo. They’ve been performing individually for 15+ years with very different styles, although when they met it was apparent these styles complement each other perfectly for beautiful harmonies and lively playing. You won’t’ want to miss them!

Food Truck - Leona's Bespoke Catering 5-8pm
Music - Abi Powell 6-8pm
Leona's Bespoke Ctaering specialise in bringing global cuisine to you. Her menus are always tailored and as diverse as Korean to Indonesian or French to Latin American. We can't wait to see what she brings to Maverick but we know it'll be delicious!
Abi Powell is a 27 year old singer-songwriter from Bracknell. She performs all over the Berkshire area and is heavily involved with the local music scene, promoting and playing at open mics. Abi has played at the tap a couple times now, and always blows us away with her powerful voice and soulful covers.

Saturday 21st June
Food Truck - Crumpy's Smoke Shack 5pm to 8pm
Music- Dom Gee-Burch 6-8pm
There will be awesome food from Crumpy's Smoke Shack. Adam and his team specialise in smoked local produce- Surrey Farms' brisket, beef chuck and buttermilk fried chicken. Not only a treat for carnivores, Crumpy's offer mouth-watering vegetarian options with their signature smoky expertise- smoked Portobello mushroom burgers and a range of loaded fries.
There will be epic music from Dom Gee-Burch. Dom Gee-Burch is back at the tap after his brilliant and bustlingly busy previous performances. Dom is one of the masterminds and performers behind 440 Theatre/ ShakesBeer who performed A Midsumer Night’s Dream this summer at the Tap. He’s also a talented musician who also plays in an 80's cover band. We're sure his picture tells you everything you need to know...! He'll be toning it down a bit to suit the acoustic taproom vibe, but still expect a fun-filled nostalgic trip through acoustic and 80's classics.

Food Truck - Momo Nepalese 5pm-8pm
Music - Tom Key 6-8pm
Momo specialise in delicious Nepalese streetfood with a modern twist. It’s exclusively locally sourced and with seasonally fresh ingredients from this family run business. Think of a range of meaty and vegi Momo (dumplings) to Bao Buns and sumptuous mixed noodle boxes. They’ve got all the sides to match, from samosas and homemade poppadoms to kimchi salads and corn ribs.

Tom Key is a sophisticated singer/songwriter playing a blend of melodic, pop-influenced originals and soulful covers. He also knows his way around a loop pedal... you really won't want to miss this!
